ELSEWHERE IN THE WORLD...

Because we here at Jewish Justice aren't COMPLETELY self-centered and realize that there are other human and civil rights abuses committed around the world, we'll dedicate this small space to drawing attention to them. To wit, in support of free speech, here are the Danish cartoons that the mainstream media won't publish for fear of retribution.

This situation has gotten so absurd that this year Yale University Press published a book supposed to be an academic treatment of the controversy but refused to publish the actual cartoons or any other image of the prophet Muhammed. Yale University Press director, John Donatich, stated that "when it came between that and blood on my hands, there was no question" that the cartoons would have to go. Ahem,... Mr. Donatich, haven't you ever spent the weekend across the border in the "Live Free or Die" state? (that would be New Hampshire for all you non-Americans reading) Literally millions of people have died throughout history for the right to free speech, including all those who died in the revolution that allowed you to be born in a society that even has private printing to begin with. Don't you like your JOB, asshole? Everything you are and everything you have is because of Patrick Henry uttering the words "Give me liberty or give me death" in 1775. And I second the motion...

The only thing offensive about these cartoons is...they aren't that funny.
